This incense features a fresh green-note scent with chamomile oil.
It contains a blend of powdered Kampo herbs — Artemisia capillaris (Inchin), Gardenia fruit (Shishi), and Rhubarb root (Daio) — following the formulation of the classic herbal remedy Inchinko-to (Inchinkoto).
Prescriptions of medicinal herbs tailored to various symptoms have been kneaded in the incense. Normally, medicinal herbs are also used when making incense, but this "Kampo Japanese Medicinal Herb Incense" contains 10 times more medicinal herbs than usual.
The scent is mainly made from natural oil. In addition to the deep scent of medicinal herbs, you can expect an aromatherapy effect.
