This is Kanako Yoshida from YOUYOUANG.
How are you doing?
The weather has been unstable before the rainy season starts, hasn't it? On weekends and early mornings, I'm busy in a way that's different from work, such as practicing my road bike and running, and taking care of the flowers that have started to bloom in the garden, in between the rain. (lol)
I have been going to "Nakanojo Gardens" a lot recently. It takes just under an hour by car, but I have already obtained an annual passport. There is such a different beauty every time I visit. Professional gardeners bring out the best of the flowers throughout the four seasons.
The garden is said to be one of the few in Japan with a strolling garden that allows visitors to stroll around the well-maintained garden.
In the small forest, there are benches here and there and some people are reading books.
The day before yesterday, spring roses full of youthful vigor were in full bloom. The rose garden is divided into seven sections, each with a different atmosphere and color depending on the theme.
Like a dream world, the colorful world is so enchanting. I love this place so much that I want to bring my sleeping bag and stay there.
Yesterday, for the first time in a while, I went on a road bike ride with six of my like-minded friends. We started at 8:00 a.m. and headed for a delicious bistro in Tochigi City. The 110-km round trip on the road bike was a great change of pace. It didn't rain, and the clouds kept my sunburn to a minimum, I'm sure.
On the wide bike path, we attacked (suddenly started competing with each other) and were attacked. I was amazed with myself, who ride a bicycle like a child until my legs cramped up, but this is probably the most fun part of the day. Thanks to that, my muscles are sore today. (Laughs)
The hydrangeas in my yard have begun to change color. Don't think of the rainy season as annoying, but think of it as a good season for your skin (moisturizing) and the season when you can skip watering your garden, so be positive.
