The cycle of “three cold days and four warm days” is continuing. Last week, Maebashi was covered with about 15 cm of snow, and when I opened the curtains, I was greeted with a pure white snow scene.

This is quite unusual for this time of year, so I put on my down jacket and went for a walk.

The weeping plum trees, in full bloom, were covered with snow.

While I was already enchanted by the sight of the pink plum blossoms, the magnificent scene left me completely mesmerized.... It looked like a masterpiece.

Ater that, the weather warmed up, and skunk cabbages began to bloom in a park near my office.

On my jog this morning in the mid spring weather, I also saw rapeseed flowers. Come to think of it, I haven’t had boiled rapeseed flowers yet.

They are delicious with mustard dressing, aren’t they?

As expected, sales of “cherry blossom” related products are accelerating as the weather gets warmer.

We are little worried that our stock of cherry blossom twigs, which we harvested during the winter to use for our cherry blossom incense packaging,

may run out, but we’re so happy with the response from our customers. Thank you very much.
